A Healthy Addiction

If you have a Tropical Smoothie Cafe near you, you should give it a try. They have very healthy food options and delicious smoothies.

My favorite is the Blueberry Pomegranate Truffle. It's not on the menu anymore, but they still make it.  It has blueberry, pomegranate, avocado, and white chocolate. YUMMY!!!! I go every Monday because I can't help myself. If that's wrong, then I don't want to be right.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day everybody!  Doesn't that picture look delicious?  I hope that everyone enjoyed themselves. My family sure did. My husband gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a gorgeous heart vase, that I love. We gave our daughter a stuffed hedgehog that is holding a heart that says I <3 U.

I made my best attempt to cook a delicious meal for dinner. I have been sick for the past week. I was severely fatigued, but I pulled it off. My husband let me rest a lot that day.

For dinner, we enjoyed main lobster tail and fillet mignon.  This was served with mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. I purchased everything at aldi!  It was a very good deal.

Happy 2nd Bithday!

Our daughter turned two a couple of weeks ago. We can definitely see a change in her. They aren't kidding when they call it the terrible two's. She is still very sweet, but we are definitely having more meltdown moments

This year, and probably every year from now on, we ordered out. Kolaches from The Kolache Factory and bundtinis from Nothing bundt Cake. Both places have reasonable prices, and it's worth it not to have to cook. All together I purchased two dozen bundtinis and three dozen kolaches. We had six adults and two toddlers. We ended up gathering a few snacks that were more diabetic friendly for my dad.

For him, we had bean dip, hummus, chips, raw veggies, and ranch dip. We had soda, juice, and water for beverages.

I spent a whopping $32 at the Dollar Tree for decorations and party favors. Check out my pictures below. You can see more on my instagram, and be sure to follow me!
